Atlanta 2 Day Walk For Breast Cancer

It’s just 1 week until the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer October 15-16 in downtown Atlanta. My human has been walking almost every day to get ready for it. I’ve been to every training walk this year except the very first one. My human made it to every one!

Here are a few pictures from the Alpharetta training walk in August. He didn’t take the camera to the Sandy Springs walk. It was 12 miles and we did the whole thing together. That’s a long walk for these little legs. I’m glad he didn’t get pictures, those last 2 miles were pretty embarrassing for me. The human had to carry me twice, but only for about a 1/4 mile.

And here are a few pictures from the Stone Mountain walk in July, that one was 10 miles and I made the whole thing there too.

My human seem to have gotten a lot of pictures of me on this one. I’m not complaining.

Finally, check out the grand-opening of the Running Dachshund T-Shirt Store. We just started it today and we’ll be adding many more fun designs during October.

Atlanta 2 Day Roswell Training Walk

A beautiful day in Roswell for the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer Training Walk.
Visit the 2 Day Walk home page at itsthejourney.org to learn all about this organization and what they have done for the Atlanta community over the last 13 years.

Not that a warm up was needed but we had a quick one and it was time to invade the streets of Roswell.

Thanks again to our awesome safety crew. They watch over us.

And a few special pictures of an awesome rookie this year. We look forward to walking with her again. I believe she thanked every member of our safety crew for their service.

And finally a picture of yours truly after the 5.5. mile walk. Yup this puppy made the whole thing and I was ready for a banana and a nap!

See you all again next month at Stone Mountain. They say I’ll be walking all the way around that big rock!! Walk around a rock… how hard can that be.

If you want to help the Atlanta 2 Day Walk with a generous donation here is a link to my human’s team and donation page. Everything raised for the Atlanta 2 Day Walk stays right here in Atlanta to help our community. Please help.

Atlanta 2 Day Dunwoody Training Walk

Today was a perfect day for the Dunwoody Training Walk for the Atlanta 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk. Team Agilysys got another member today as my human mommy Lorraine signed up  and got crew duty. She’s so happy to be able to join in and help.  Special thanks to Ray for making her feel welcome and keeping her busy while dad and I walked.

As always the safety crew was awesome. I got to mingle a little more with them. I’m still a little bit nervous around all the people and motorcycles but I’m getting better.

More pictures of me this time. I’m wearing my brand new Hug-A-Dog Harness in pink love and ribbon pattern. My new Contour ROAM Camera mount is super easy and comfortable too.

Here are a couple new pictures from the studio in my new harness. How can anyone resist those eyes. Remember I’m out here to help the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer raise MONEY and awareness to help the local Atlanta community

So many great people out walking today. Here are a bunch of pictures. I’ll (my human dad) get a video edited and posted as soon as possible.

Atlanta 2 Day Marietta Training Walk

Awesome morning training walk in Marietta.

This morning Team Agilysys and a whole bunch of fellow walkers for the Atlanta 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer took to the streets of Marietta for the second training walk for 2016. Your’s truly was there in support of this great cause and group here in Atlanta. I walked side by side and tail to toe with them. My little legs keep up and I’m looking forward to many more walks.

The 2 Day folks sure are nice they even gave me my own walkers button to wear on my harness. Of course I had the low view dachshund cam with me and got some good clips with the Contour HD ROAM camera.

My human has ordered me a brand new harness which everyone will get to see at the next walk in May. Suffice to say this girl will have her PINK on!! Enjoy the video and pictures below and remember to support our cause with generous donations at this link
